Should I have a Wedding Book?
Fri, 24 Aug 2012
The most useful tool you can have when planning a wedding is an exercise book.
- Start a new page for each wedding provider you engage. One page for your ceremony venue, reception venue, celebrant, photographer etc.
- Make sure that it contains their business card so that you have all their contact details at hand.
- You can then list quotes for their services and note when deposits or payments are made.
- You can keep samples of material; photos of dresses or pictures of cakes on the relevant pages. So when you go from one wedding provider to the other, you can show them the type of dress you are looking for or a colour you are wanting to match.
This way you will be able to keep track of your finances and know that every time you leave the house, all your wedding information goes with you and is at hand and ready at any time it is needed.
