Isabella's Naming Day

As a Brisbane Marriage Celebrant, I perform not only weddings, but also Naming ceremonies for babies and young children. It was my honour to perform a ceremony for a beautiful little one year old named Isabella. I have performed lots and lots of these ceremonies over the past twenty plus years and am always astounded by the efforts of the parents to make their day special.
When I arrived at Isabella's home on the outskirts of Brisbane I saw beautifully arranged tables, all in colours of pink and I was absolutely amazed at the gorgeous and unique decorations on the tables. Isabella's very talented mother had hand-made a series of flowers, all in different colours and sizes which had been assembled against the wall with a awathe of balloons. It stood over a metre tall and was very impressive.
And then I saw these stunning floral arrangements, again hand-made. The figure 1 had been cut out in cardboard in two different shapes to make a frame, and coloured flowers were placed inside to make a beautiful standing arrangement. Again, these were almost one metre high and provided a very spectacular backdrop for photos etc.
I had never seen such a pretty presentation and just had to comment on it.
