Many couples are now catering for their own weddings and rather than having a 'full on' reception are looking for a simpler alternative.
As a marriage celebrant, I recently performed a wedding ceremony in Logan where the bride and groom hired vintage china and their reception took the form of high tea. It was exquisite.
To see all the beautiful vintage china stretched out across pristine white linen tablecloths and accompanied by silver forks and spoons was really a delight to see. The table looked elegant and the charm of yesteryear was truly something to behold.
